Chemron is known as a company of firsts. They were the first company to formulate a starch adhesive, using Chemron ProMaster, that could run double wall at over 1000 feet per minute in the 1990s.

 

We were also the first to create a 25 second Stein Hall viscosity Micro and G flute Starch Adhesive formula. Chemron was the first to run their PolyBond Series of liquid additives in the carrier portion of the batch, designed to work alongside caustic soda.

 

With our product working in conjunction with caustic soda, we achieved the lowest gel points, the fastest run speeds, and the highest pin adhesion tests in the corrugated industry.

 

Chemron was the first to produce the highest monthly averages of over 56,000 lineal feet per hour, with daily average records of over 60,000 lineal feet per hour.
